Medical Review Policy
Articles are researched and edited by the TiredOrSick.com Editorial Team under the direction of Dewan Md Enamul Hassan, Founder & Editor. Content is based on publicly available guidance from recognized health authorities and is intended for educational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
How content is reviewed
Every article on this site is checked against the guidance published by recognized government and public health authorities — including MedlinePlus and the CDC (USA), the NHS (UK), Canada.ca and HealthLinkBC (Canada), and Healthdirect (Australia). References to those sources appear directly on each article page so you can read the original guidance yourself.
References are periodically reviewed and updated as guidance changes. That is why the review dates below matter: they tell you not just when an article was written, but how current its information is likely to be.
What "Last reviewed" and "Next review" mean
- Last reviewed is the most recent date the article's content and references were checked against current source guidance.
- Next review is an estimated date for the next scheduled check, typically about a year later. Articles may be reviewed sooner if a cited authority updates its guidance or if a reader reports a possible error.
What this review does not mean
Review on this site means editorial and source-accuracy review, not a clinical assessment of your personal symptoms. No content on this site is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for seeing a qualified healthcare professional. If something you read here doesn't match your own situation, or if your symptoms are new, severe, worsening, or concerning, talk to a doctor or other licensed clinician.
Reporting a possible error
If you believe an article contains outdated or inaccurate information, please use our Corrections Policy to let us know. See also our Editorial Policy for how sources and disagreements between authorities are handled.
